Aryans North East students shine in 9th Cultural Extravaganza “Rajni”

The North East students of Aryans Group of Colleges organized 9th Annual Cultural Extravaganza “Rajni”. Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal, Minister, Technical Education & Industrial Training, Punjab was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Sh. Sanjay Tandon, President, BJP, and Sh. Deepak Dhiman, State Editor, Dainik Bhaskar Group were the Guests of Honour on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event. Renowned Bollywood Singer Kamal Khan mesmerized the audience with his songs.

Aryans North East students shine in 9th Cultural ExtravaganzaStudents of B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BA, B.Com, GNM, Polytechnic Diploma participated in the colorful cultural items and mesmerized the whole crowd with their performances. Renowned Comedian, Amritpal Singh (Chotu) has impressed and enthralled the audience with his comedy style.

The function commenced with the Lamp Lighting ceremony by the Aryans Group patrons Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria and Mrs. Rajni Kataria followed by Devotional Shiv Tandav by Himanshu & group. Students of Aryans Group presented a colorful Cultural Programme which included Kashmiri Dance , Bhangra, Giddha, Naati,Western dance, Dark Monster, Jhumar, Punjabi dance, Fusion, Act, Folk dance, solo song, solo dance etc.

Dr. Anshu Kataria speaking on the occasion said that Aryans Group has students from all over India who are studying in various courses. The students presented their respective cultures through their dances in the function. He added that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities are equally important. They help in the overall development of the students.

It is to be mentioned that various cultural activities performed by students like Bhangra by Gaganpreet and group, Dark monster dance by Parveen and Nariya. Hip Hop dance by Dharma and group brought the audience onto their heels. Gidda by Lovpreet and Group was the centre of attraction. Save Girls Skit by Manpreet and group delivered right message to the audience.

Showing the cultures of different states, Naati performed by Mritunjay and group while Nausheen and group presented Kashmiri Dance. Shubham and group performed Kashmiri Dance, Rupika and group performed Haryanvi Dance, Bhojpuri dance by Md Shahzad.Jhumar Folk dance by Sukhi and group while Mast Punjaban Girls performed by Manpreet and group and string dance performed by Sayed Ali and group.

Also, present on the occasion were Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; Dr. Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans College of Education; Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group; Prof. A.P Jain, Director, Aryans Group and many others.

Aryans Students Shine in Cultural Extravaganza “Roshaan”

Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) organized annual cultural extravaganza “Roshaan” at the Punjab Kala Bhawan, Sector 16, Chandigarh today.Sh Chander Shekhar, IPS, ADGP (Railways/Traffic) Punjab was the Chief Guest on the occasion While Sh.R.P.Singh, IPS, IGP (Traffic) was the guest of honour. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function. Around 350 MBA/BBA/BCA students of Aryans Business School (ABS), Aryans School of Management (ASM) and Aryans Institute of Management and technology (AIMT) participated in the colorful cultural items.

news112Students of Aryans Group presented a colorful cultural programme which included bhangra, giddha, group dances, western dance, Punjabi dance, fusion, skits, mime, choreography, folk dance, fashion show, solo songs, solo dance, and guitar playing etc. Many students were honoured for their achievements in academics, sports, cultural & extra curricular activities. Ravinder Vikram of MBA IV and Sukhbir of BCA IV were adjudged the best student.

Sh Chander Shekhar, IPS, ADGP (Railways/Traffic) Punjab said that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities are equally important. They help in the overall development of the students.

Also, present on the occasion were Prof. D. C. Kataria, Vice- Chairman; Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Director General, Dr.D.P. Singh, Dr.A.S.Balgir, Dr.Manjit Kalra and many others.

The event commenced on a spiritual note with Saraswati Vandana by Iram and group. While, a Himchalidance under the leadership of Rakesh and party enthralled the audience, Rajasthani dance by Jyoti and group brought the audience onto their heels.

On the other hand, Punjabi group dance “Bhangra” by Sukhbir & group, “Dangerous group dance” by Bismay & group, “Punjabi dance” by Harmeet & group, “western dance” dance by Dinesh and Avneet, “fusion” by Bismay and Nitika  and many others brought the audience to their toes.

A choreography depicting College Life by Shilpika & others made remember all present the freshness of college life. A well choreographed fashion show by Bismay depicted the students in various colorful and magnificent outfits.
