Navjot Singh Sidhu, Tourism & Cultural Affairs Minister felicitates Aryans Group

After achieving many milestones in last 11 years in the education sector, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has added another feather in its cap.

Navjot Singh Sidhu, Minister for Tourism & Cultural Affairs, Punjab felicitated Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group with the Edupreneur Award in a function “Unveiling of Edupreneurs 2” held today.

The award ceremony was hosted by a renowned media house of the country wherein Dr. Anshu Kataria was awarded for his challenging journey from a school drop to Doctorate from University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh and from UBS to the journey of opening his own Business School near Chandigarh.

Dr. Anshu Kataria after receiving the award said that it’s a proud moment to get this award of edupreneur. He said that Aryans is the only campus in the North India region where all the 4 promoters are educationists. The chief patron, Prof Roshan Lal Kataria has taught in Govt College Muktsar, Govt. College Zeera and in the chain of DAVs etc. Mrs Rajni Kataria, Founder, Aryans Group herself was a school teacher. Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General has given her teaching services in Guru Nanak College Moga etc and Dr. Anshu Kataria has also taught in Govt. College Muktsar and Guru Nanak Moga etc.

Navjot singh Sidhu after the ceremony while addressing the audience, corporates and top 10 renowned educationists of Punjab said that in the world, India has emerged in the list of top entrepreneur Countries and Punjab is at the top. He motivated and urged the entrepreneurs to make their students job providers and not job seekers thereby taking them to entrepreneurship by developing such skills in them through education.

It is to be mentioned that not only this at the age of 31 years, Dr. Kataria owned and started his own Business School. At the age of 40 years, he became the President of Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) representing over 1000 Colleges of Punjab and President of All India Federation of Self Financing Technical Institutions Association (AIFSFTI) representing over 10,000 Colleges of India.

Earlier to this Aryans Group has been awarded for “Excellence in Education” by Late Dr. A.P.J.  Abdul Kalam, Former President; Sh. Parkash Singh Badal, Ex-Chief Minister of Punjab; Sh. Shivraj V Patil, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh; Dr. Kiran Bedi, First Women IPS Officer of India; S. Joginder Singh, Ex-Director, CBI etc. The Group has also been honoured for “Excellence in career building” by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human Resource Development, India.Recently Aryans has been awarded with the best placement award among the AICTE approved colleges in the Chandigarh region by Sh.  Vijay Sampla, Hon’ble Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment in India.

Aryans Group, Chandigarh to organize it’s 3rd and last Scholarship Mela on 26th August

Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh is going to organize it’s 3rd and last Scholarship Mela for the needy & deserving students on 26th August at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh.

Aryans has launched a special toll free helpline for the students. Interested students can register themselves by giving a missed call on toll free helpline 1800-3000-0388 or on Aryans website

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that in this mela on the spot counseling, on the spot Scholarship, on the spot Education Loan, on the spot Admission would be offered to the students. Students need to bring their original certificates of class 10th or 12th or Graduation along with ID Proof, Caste Certificate, Address proof, Passport size photograph etc.

The students can avail scholarship in LL.B, BA-LL.B, B.Sc (Agri), B.Ed, MA(Edu), GNM, ANM, B.Com, BA courses. SC/ST students can also avail 100% scholarship under Centre Govt. PMS scheme on all courses.

Aryans Business School records 99% result in MRS-PTU Exams

The MBA students of Aryans Business School (ABS), Chandigarh brought laurels to the college by giving 99% result in final examination conducted by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRS-PTU), Bathinda in April, 2017.

Wincy Mathew of Andaman & Nicobar Islands stood 1st by securing 90.8%, Vijender Singh of Haryana stood 2nd by securing 83% and Syed Mohd Saleem of JK stood 3rd by securing 81% in the gadget.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh while congratulating the toppers said that Aryans Business School has gained its name & fame in last 11 years. He said that Aryans business school was first private business school of North India which has got approval to use CAT, XAT,MAT, GMAT & GRE from IIMs, XLRI, AIMA, GMAC (USA), ETS (USA) respectively.

Kataria further added that Aryans B- School was the 22nd Business School of all over the Country to get an international membership of AACSB (Association To Advance Collegiate School Of Business, USA). The group has also been ranked 48th among top private B-Schools of India by Dainik Bhaskar Group (Bhaskar Lakshya) in the year 2011.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group while speaking said that MBA course of ABS is approved by AICTE, New Delhi & affiliated to MRS-PTU, Bathinda. Apart from teaching these students are given exposure to various industries, MNCs, live projects etc to gain skills.

Malkit Singh performed live in Aryans show at North Country Mall

Internationally renowned Punjabi folk singer Malkit Singh performed live at North Country Mall, Kharar in the live in concert organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh; North Country Mall and Asis Productions. Over thousands of people of the tricity and from far areas attended the function. The show was managed by SSS Productions.

Malkit Singh brought in a sensation with his hit numbers  “Gud Naal Ishaq Meetha”, “Tootak Tootak Tootiya”, “Jind Mahi”, “Chal Hun“ etc and made the audience tap on his bhangra beats.

Malkit Singh also released his new song “Saade Vala Time” on the occasion.

Malkit Singh said that the joy of being with young and enthusiastic audience adds another dimension to the feeling of taking Punjabi vernacular folk to the world.

After the show Malkit was honoured by team Aryans for his wonderful performance.

2nd Scholarship Mela of Aryans Group held at PHD Chamber

Chandigarh 29th July

Total 100 students from various parts of North India  were today selected under  scholarship in the 2nd scholarship Mela organized today by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh at PHD Chamber, Sec-31, Chandigarh.

The Mela was inaugurated by Prof Roshan Lal Kataria, Chief Patron, Aryans Group. Over 425 students from the region visited throughout the day wherein they were given on the spot counseling & scope of various courses, on the spot scholarship, on the spot admission and education loan by India Overseas Bank. 100 students on merit cum means basis for over 71.30 lacs were selected out of which 20 students were selected under B.Tech,15 under Diploma, 15 under B.Sc(Agri), 10 in BBA/BCA, 5 in B.Com , 5 in MBA, 10 in Law, 10 in Nursing, 10 in B.Ed and MA(Edu) etc.

Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria, Chief Patron, Aryans Group while congratulating the students and parents said that Aryans has taken the initiative and has started a series in which those students who are deprived of pursuing higher education would be benefitted from maximum part of India. He thanked media for the support and taking this campaign to maximum people.

Mrs Sukhaman Bath, Registrar, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that earlier to this 100 students of Chandigarh, Rajpura, Patiala region were awarded with scholarship in various courses. On the same pattern Aryans would continue it’s effort to reach every corner of maximum States to help such needy students to come forward for their education

Bath further added that we shouldn’t make education a commercial sector. Every institution should feel it’s responsibility and should target at least 10% financial constraint students and help them in reaching their dreams.

Mrs Manpreet Mann, Dean Scholarship dept, Aryans Group added that around 40% students from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, JK, North east, Bihar, Jharkhand etc in Aryans are studying under various scholarship schemes.
