A workshop on Moot Court skills organizes at Aryans College of Law

Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized two days workshop on “Careers Prospective after Legal studies and Moot Court skills” at its campus. Advocate Sapna Arora, winner of National & International Moot Courts and enrolled advocate at Delhi Bar Association was the key note speaker on the occasion.

Students of LL.B (3 Years) and BA-LL.B (5 Years) participated in the workshop. Adv. Sapna Arora conducted a workshop on Moot Court skills. The objective was to enable the law students to learn the practical knowledge and art of discussion on the point of law.

Law student were made to learn the proper knowledge of preparation of legal documents, arguing the case, art of cross-examination etc in the moot court by the advocate.

Adv. Sapna Arora guided students about various career opportunities after legal studies. Sapna added a student can work in Judiciary, legal process outsourcing (LPO), practice in court, legal advisor in any firm etc.

Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; Dr. Raman Rani Gupta, Director Academics; Ms Jasmeen Baidwan, HOD, Law Dept etc were present on the occasion.

International Women’s Day Celebrated at Aryans Campus

Female students and staff of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today celebrated International Women’s Day at it campus on the theme “Time is Now: Rural and urban activists transforming women’s lives”

A motivational seminar on self realization for the Students & staff of various departments including Aryans College of Engineering (ACE), Aryans Business School (ABS), Aryans Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT), Aryans Institute of Nursing (AIN), Aryans College of Law (ACL), Aryans College of Education (ACE), Aryans Degree College etc was also organized.

Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group highlighted the role of women being acknowledged as equal in all the domains of the society. Be it political, social, professional, domestic or familial, women are taking over the world by storm.

Dr. Parveen Kataria addressed the female students on self motives, self motivation, self realization, self respect, self protection, self awareness, self guidance, self direction, self-determination, self-organization etc. Students also posed for the winning shots during the seminar.

Aryans supported Gaana Crossblade organized

Mohali 7th March

2 days biggest Punjabi musical festival – Gaana Crossblade was organized by EYP Creations and Speed Records with the support of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh as the education partner.

More than 40 renowned artists including Hans Raj Hans, Navraj Hans, Yuvraj Hans, Parmish verma, Manj Musik, Amit Trivedi, Sunanda Sharma, B Praak, Armaan Bedil, Sajjan Adeeb, Gurnazar Chattha, Jasmine Sandlas, DJ Flow, Sara Gurpal, etc performed live at this event.

Over 12,000 people from all over the North India participated in various fun games, activities followed by musical evenings. Aryans also honoured the artists on 2 days of the festival.

Aryans organizes 11th Athletic Meet at Campus

Sh. Balbir Singh Senior, Triple Olympic gold medalist today inaugurated 11th Athletic Meet as the Chief Guest of Aryans held at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Students of various courses like B.Tech, MBA, LL.B, BA-LL.B, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BA, GNM, ANM, B.Sc (Agri), MA (Edu), Diploma etc participated in this Athletic Meet. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.

“I am overwhelmed by the untiring efforts from the students, Staff & Management of Aryans Group for their efforts to promote games and sports in the college.”  S. Balbir further told them that the only way to succeed is through hard work, determination and discipline.

Balbir Singh further shared about his challenging life moments & opportunities and motivated the students to realize their dreams of representing the country. “Sports plays a huge role in the development of youth and my advice to the youth is to pursue sports with passion and intelligence” Sr. Balbir Singh added.

Dr. Anshu Kataria while speaking on the occasion congratulated all the participating students.  Kataria said that sports contribute an important role in development of overall personality of a student. Citing the example of various eminent sports personalities, he encouraged the students to adopt sports as profession too.

The whole event was divided into three parts- Indoor Games, Outdoor Games and Fun Games. The Outdoor Games included 100 m and 200 m Races, Volleyball, Football, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Long Jump, High Jump, Javelin Throw, Discuss Throw etc. The Indoor Games included Chess Carom Board and Badminton. The Fun Games included 3 Legged Race, Tug of War, Sack Race, Eating Noodles, Finding Balls in Mud, Potato Race and Fun Cricket.

Pan India Startup league organized at Aryans Group

Mohali 27th February

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh in association with Millionminds under the patronage of Startup India (A Govt. of India’s initiative) today organized a pan India “The Startup League” for the students to showcase Startup Idea Hunt show at its Campus.

Mr. Alokesh Choudhury, Founder, Sporophyte Merchandising Pvt Ltd; Mr. Atul Gupta, Co-Founder & Chief Mentor, RedAlkemi, Pugmarks were the speakers & judges on the occasion. Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group presided over the function.

Students of various departments of Aryans participated in the league and showcased their innovative ideas on various projects.

Nitu Shukla , Nidhi Jaswal, Ayushi, Manisha of  CSE 6th  sem who described Clothing Design Software stood first; Sabreena, Riyaz, Yawar, Mariam, Ishtiak of Civil 4th Sem bagged 2nd position for Aryans Safety Helmet; Kajal of ECE 4th sem stood 3rd for Aryans Life Saving Glove. These students would now get chance to take their start up ideas and projects to higher level.

Mr. Alokesh Choudhury said that the league is happening across 40 cities in India, with 400+ colleges Engaging 50,000+ Students with the involvement of industry bodies and speakers from Startup Ecosystem to recognize, highlight and honour the efforts of young and budding tricity Youth and Entrepreneurs who ingeniously developed Applications used by a large number of Societies.

Mr. Atul Gupta said that each student passing out of the institutes are well-versed and employable & suggested that institutes should focus on job oriented subjects, entrepreneurship and avenues and resources related professions so the passed out students should be job providers and not just job seekers.
