Aryans Group organizes 12th Cultural Function “Rajni”

Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today organized its 12th Cultural Function “Rajni” on the theme “Anti Drug Campaign”. Engineering, Law, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Education, Nursing, Management, Polytechnic etc students of Aryans Group presented colourful items in various cultural activities.

The function started with the lamp lighting ceremony by Dr. H.K Bali, Director, Cardiologist, Fortis Hospital, Mohali; Founder, Prof Roshan Lal Kataria; Treasurer, Mrs Rajni Kataria; Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr. Anshu Kataria; Director General, Dr. Parveen Kataria; Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director; Dr. Raman Rani Gupta, Principal, Aryans Group etc.

On the occasion Renowned Bollywood Artist Pardeep Singh Sran “Cutiepie” Fame, Punjabi Singer Balraj, Kashmiri Mimicry Artist Anwar Kasana enthralled the audience in their style.

Students of more than 20 different States studying at Aryans presented various Cultural items and Folk Dances and represented their States on the Stage.

The function started with the Ganesh Vandana as the welcome dance by Yapik Ekke & team from Arunachal Pradesh. Students showcased their talent though lively and exuberant performances of various items including Bollywood Dance by Anishka & Group.

Shabnum & group from Jammu & Kashmir recited a soulful Prayer; Chonung & Group from Tripura & Nagaland performed Bamboo Dance; Yanga Nilling & group performed Arunachali Folk Dance; Atul Raj & Team performed Bhojpuri Dance.

Himachali students diverted the audience towards their State with their Himachali Natti. The solo Singing & dance performances, folk orchestra and folk songs were equally engaging.

Different plays including Baji Rao Mastani, Sharab Bandhi, Funny Dance etc left a meaningful message for the audience. Play by Vandana & Group on “Say no to Drugs” enlightened the youth & audience against the evil effects of drugs. Ramp Walk & Modeling in different cultural attires by the students sashayed the ramp.

The exhilarating and energetic performance of Bhangra by Prabhjot, Charanjeet & Group brought out lively and colourful life of rural Punjab and made the audience of to tap on their feet.

Dr. Anshu Kataria congratulated the students. He said that Aryans Group has students from all over India who are studying in various courses. The students presented their respective cultures through their dances in the function. He added that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities are equally important. They help in the overall development of the students.

Aryans organizes Quiz Competition on Engineer’s Day

Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today organized a technical quiz “Quizpedia” on Engineer’s Day. Students of Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication Departments participated in the quiz. The competition was organized to improve the technical as well as General knowledge of the students.

Six teams, namely Astro Belts, Big Dippers, Crazy Craters, Dallas Rockets and Evil Galaxies Participated. All the teams have undergone through various technical rounds of the quiz.Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group said that the Engineering Students have tendency to lead from front in all spheres of life including academics, General Knowledge cultural, sports, technology etc.

Congratulating the Students, Prof. A.P Jain, Dean, Aryans Group said that Aryans students have done lot of Innovations and Projects in Engineering in past & have various achievements to their credits i.e. Aryans Android app, Life Saving Glove, Save Kashmir app, Aryans Safety Helmet, Aryans solar Boat, Aryans E-Munshi App and Aryans Shikara App etc.

The first prize won by the team Dallas Rockets, Second prize by Astro Belts and third prize by Crazy Craters in the Quiz. Students who have done innovations in past were also honoured on the occasion.

AICTE Grants Skill Development Courses to Aryans Group

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), New Delhi has given approval to Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh for starting Skill Development Courses. The selected students would get free training of these Courses and their entire course fees would be reimbursed by AICTE.

In the Construction Branch, Assistant Surveyor and Helper Construction, Painter Courses; in Automotive Branch, Clutch Specialist, Welding Technician, Brake Specialist, Forging Operator, Lathe Operator Courses have been sanctioned. In electronics Branch, Solar Panel Installation Technician, LED Light Repair Technician, TV Repair Technician, Test and Repair Technician courses have been given.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges while thanking AICTE said that its a great Initiative of AICTE because many of the students who could not pursue their Technical Education due to shortage of Funds can now make their career in highly skilled Courses.

Monika Rana, Head, Aryans Skill Development Centre said that the eligibility for construction courses is only 5th Pass, for IT courses is 10th /12th Pass out, for Automotive courses is 10th/ITI pass out and for electronics eligibility is 10th /12th/ITI pass out. Appreciating the eligibility criteria Monika Rana said that this will encourage many of such candidates who dropped their studies mid way and are unemployed.

It is to be mentioned that AICTE has granted approval for 10 courses and after the completion of courses, the employment would also be provided. Students would be eligible to work in India or Abroad after the completion of these skill development courses.

Maharani Preneet Kaur graced Aryans Function

Maharani Preneet Kaur, Ex Minister for State graced “Zaika- The Great Indian Feast” of Aryans Group of Colleges, Near Rajpura on the theme “Eat Healthy & Say No to Drugs”. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.

The function was organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Co-Linkers and BYE. Sh. Ashwani Sekhri, Chairman, JAC; Young leader, Sh. Gagandeep Singh; Sh. K.K Sharma, Chairman, PRTC; Sh. Sanjeev Sharma, Mayor; S. Kumar Amit, D.C Patiala; S.S.P S. Mandeep Singh Sidhu; Sh. Yoginder Singh Yogi, Senior Deputy Mayor; Sh. Vinty Sangar, Deputy Mayor; Sh. Rajesh Mandora, Chairman OBC Cel MC, Patiala; SP Keshar Singh etc were also present on the occasion.

Maharani appreciated the initiative of Aryans to make Punjab Drug Free by spreading the awareness among the youth through such programmes and encouraging them to eat healthy food to redirect the mind of youth of Punjab towards healthy cause.
On the occasion various renowned Singers including Bannet Dosanjh, Monty & Waris, Akaal, Manpreet Singh, Simar Gill etc performed live on their hit tracks and made the audience tap on their feet.
