Aryans Group to organise Scholarship Mela on 9th July

To support meritorious & financially weak students to pursue their higher technical education near Chandigarh, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh is organizing a Scholarship Mela. The scholarship mela would be held on 9th July, 2017 at PHD Chamber, Chandigarh.

Interested students can apply directly on Aryans website www.aryans.edu.in or can give a missed call on Tollfree helpline No 1800-3000-0388 or may submit their registration form in Aryans Campus situated on Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while giving more information said that under this scheme a total of 100 students be selected in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan.

Kataria further added that this scholarship would be given to those students who have marks but no means and are interested to pursue their education in technical courses. Aryans would admit these students in various courses including B.Tech, LEET, Diploma, B.Sc (Agri), BBA, BCA, B.Com, MBA.

The scholarship would help to empower underprivileged youth of the Nation through relevant and technical education, innovative ideas and market-focused livelihood programmes at Aryans. Students can avail scholarship benefits in other courses also including LL.B, BA-LL.B, ANM, MA (Edu), B.Ed, BA, GNM etc.

Tree Plantation Drive organizes at Aryans Campus

Mohali 25th June

A Tree Plantation Drive by the team members of various departments of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh including Engineering, Management, Law, Degree, Education, Nursing etc was organized in the college campus situated at Chandigarh Patiala Highway, Near Chandigarh. Hundreds of saplings including Silver oak, Gulmohar, Chakrasia, Ashoka, Tun, Neem were planted by the students, staff and Management.

Dr. Raman Rani Gupta, Director, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that greenery and environmental protection is necessary for the survival of the mankind. She added that everyone should feel their responsibility to create awareness and participate in tree plantation drive everywhere. Indiscriminate felling of forests and pollution are the major problems, She added.

Gupta further said that the existing environmental problems that we are facing today and said that we can contribute in reducing the environmental problems by way of planting trees in and around us. She added that everyone should participate actively in tree plantation drive and conserve our environment for the future generation.

Ms Sukhaman Bath, Registrar, Aryans Group urged to take active participation in tree plantation drive and to preserve the nature for the benefit of the future generation. She said that we need to preserve the nature for the benefit of the future generation. She added that each one should look after the plants planted by him/her and also encourage others to plant one tree in their homes, villages and towns.

“Iftar” Party Organized by JK Students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh in Srinagar

Srinagar 25th June

Continuing its old tradition, the JK Students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh organized “Iftar” party at Masjid Near Nehru Park, Dal Lake, Srinagar to celebrate Ramadan. Students of B.Tech, LL.B, BA-LL.B, MBA, BBA, BCA, GNM, ANM, B.Com, B.Sc (Agri), BA, Polytechnic Diploma etc of Aryans Group gathered at the venue. The students distributed free Iftar boxes containing dates, Bananas and juice to the people on the occasion helping them break their fast.

Students namely Tanzil, Furqaan, Mudassir, Shahnawaz  along with the staff members namely Amanpreet Singh, Rajdeep Kaur, Harash Kumar etc took the lead in organizing the Iftaar and actively participated in it.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that majority of students studying in Aryans are from the valley. He added that earlier also, the JK students of Aryans celebrated Eid Ul Fitr in a full swing with staff and management at Aryans campus situated at Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, Near Chandigarh.

It is to be mentioned that Iftar is the meal eaten by Muslims to break their fast after sunset every day during Ramadan. While fasting, they eat in the morning before sunrise and then don’t eat all day until the sun sets. It is very important to breakfast at the one particular time that the calendar says. Many Muslims believe that feeding someone Iftar as a form of charity is very rewarding.

Kataria further said that Aryans is becoming the first choice of JK Students in North India. Over 1500 students from various parts of JK are already studying in Aryans under different courses. These students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In Academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU Merit list.

Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General Aryans Group said that Aryans JK students have done various innovations. Recently 4 girls of Jammu & Kashmir have developed 7 launched “Ramadan App”. Earlier to this  “Aryans Android App” in lieu to make campuses paper free, “Aryans Save Kashmir App” which was developed for the rescue operation at the time of floods in Kashmir, “ Aryans Life Saving Glove” developed to provide timely assistance to the people prone to the risk of cardiac disease, “Aryans Safety Helmet” to provide timely first aid facility in case disaster happens at construction/ mining/ industrial sites were launched and applauded at various Government Levels and gained interest of many people.

 

To provide quality education to its students Aryans has entered into many foreign collaborations and tie ups with foreign Universities/Colleges. This year the college has signed MoU with many renowned colleges of Vancouver, Singapore few of which are Sprott Shaw College, Six Capital, Loyalist College, Pearson Education Services etc.

It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. To help the needy & deserving students, Aryans has started various scholarship schemes including scholarship scheme for wards of Army personnel, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scholarship scheme, Late M.R. Kataria Memorial scholarship, Roshaan Scholarship scheme etc to pursue their higher education in various courses.

Aryans Patiala Staff organized Shabeel at Patiala

Patiala 25th June

Students along with Staff of Patiala office of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh organized Shabeel with fervor and devotion Near Grewal Complex, Tripuri at Patiala.

The shabeel of cold and sweet water was organized to offer cold water to the local residents and commuters from hot summer weather. Shabad’s and Prayers were also sung on the occasion.

Shabeel distribution of traditional sherbet, marks the custom of the Sikh community celebrating Shaheed Gurpurab of Guru Arjan Devji, the fifth Sikh Guru. He was made to sit on a burning pan when he refused to embrace Islam and marry a Mughal princess.

Aryans extends Dr. Kalam Memorial Reignited Scholarship for JK students in 2017-18 session

Keeping in view the interest of the JK students Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has decided to extend its “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Reignited Scholarship” for engineering aspirants for Jammu & Kashmir students for 2017-18 session. The announcement was made by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group in a press conference being held today at Hotel Vivek, Jammu. It is to be mentioned that this scholarship was launched last year by the Co-Author OF Late Dr. Kalam, Sh. Srijan Pal Singh in Jammu.

Dr. Anshu Kataria while speaking said that Aryans has taken this initiative under the guidance of Late Dr. Kalam when (then) President of India, Late Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam honoured Aryans with “Excellence of Education” Award in Ranchi in year 2012 and motivated Aryans to help underprivileged youth of India in making their dreams of scientists & Engineers come true.
