Aryans Group celebrates Teej – Festival of Swings

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh witnessed Festivity & Vibrancy with the celebration of Teej at its Campus. Female staff and students participated in various colourful activities on the occasion.

On the occasion, all the girls were dressed in traditional Indian wear. Music and dance completed the celebrations.The girls sang beautiful cultural songs “Lok Geet” and made the environment totally melodious.

Director, Aryans Group, Raman Rani Gupta talking about the significance of the Teej festival quoted “by participating in such traditional festivals we stay connected to our rich cultures, traditions and heritage. Other items like Giddha, dances and Punjabi folk dances and forms made the occasion more colourful and meaningful.

Dr. Raman appreciated the efforts of the girls and said the celebration of all such festivals and functions not only provide joy, but were also a way of reviving and keeping alive the traditions and customs which were vanishing these days.

CM Punjab launches World’s Largest Anti Drug Campaign

Chandigarh 30th July

Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh, today launched World’s Largest Anti Drug Campaign in a function organized by Joint Action Committee (JAC)  at Hotel Taj, Sec-17, Chandigarh. Sh. Brahm Mohindra, Health & Medical Education Minister; S. Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Welfare Minister for SCs and BCs ; Sh Rana Sodhi, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister; Smt. Asha Kumari, Congress Incharge etc were the Guests of Honour on the occasion. Sh. Ashwani Sekhari, Chairman, JAC presided over the function while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Spokesman JAC and S. Jagjit Singh, President, B.Ed Federation were the moderators of the event.

 Captain Amarinder Singh appreciated the Joint initiative of JAC towards this campaign. Captain said that we are determined to eradicate the evil of drugs from the roots of Punjab and to meet this challenge the millions of youth of Punjab is the supreme power if can be used in right direction.

 Captain further said that with this venture of JAC, this campaign would reach to every youth of Punjab under the leadership of Ashwani Sekhari. He also handed over the Oath letters to all the Presidents of 13 Associations and appealed to make their campuses Drug Free.

 Rana Sodhi while speaking said that sports Dept of Punjab is also working in this direction. Soon policies would be made for sportsmen, coaches also against Drug use. He assured full support to JAC for this campaign. He appealed the Chairmen to involve youth of Colleges into the sports activities so that their minds can be ignited with positive thoughts.

Ashwani Sekhri told that after the launching the campaign would be taken to each Tehsils/ Mandals/Blocks/Taluqs, Municipalities, Nagar Panchayats, Village Panchayats etc through 5 lakh Youth of Punjab. 

Spokesman JAC, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that in next 2 months this campaign would be taken to 5 lakh youth of 1600 Unaided Colleges situated in 22 Districts of Punjab wherein students would take oath against the drugs. JAC would attempt to make new World record to fight against the drugs.

 All the Chairman and JAC members took oath to make their campuses drugs free and educate their students about the ill effects and consequences of drugs in their Campuses

 

MLA Jalalpur inaugurates 46th Aryans Job Fest

Around 137 eligible candidates got shortlisted by around 27 Companies of various sectors today in 46th Aryans Job Fest at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. MLA Ghanaur, Sh. Madan Lal Jalalpur was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.

Madan Lal Jalalpur during the inauguration appreciated the effort of Aryans Group. Madan Lal said that Aryans is doing good job by giving quality education and by creating job fest opportunities in this periphery. Madan Lal added that in last 11 Years students not only from Rajpura but from other parts of the Country have increased many folds.

Jalalpur further added that keeping in interest of over 3000 students of Aryans & 10-15 Villages, no compromise would be made in the growth & development of this area.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while addressing the job seekers said that there is no dearth of Jobs but there is shortage of skilled & trained youth in Indian Job sectors.

Jalalpur while commenting of Alampur-Nepra-Thuha link road from highway to Aryans Campus said that Nepra-Thuha road work has already been started and for Alampur-Nepra road work he would soon meet Government.

Prof. A.P Jain, Dean, Aryans Group said that companies including Tech Mahindra, TMC shipping, Faspin, Eureka Forbes, Frisk lancer, Petenskarts, Electrotec Engineers, Innov8 technologies, Accufact, Phebous solution, Amazing IT, Cross land consultants, Zapbuild, Exim enterprise, Goteso LLP, SEO discovery etc visited the job fest.

Students from various Universities/Colleges including Punjabi University, Patiala; SVIET, Banur; CGC, Landran; Surya world, Patiala; HPTU Hamirpur; DCSA Kurukshetra University; Giani Zail Singh College; Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, Ambala etc also participated in the fest.

Aryans Kashmiri students made Solar Boat for Dal Lake

To encourage and attract the tourism in Kashmir, engineering students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh made a Solar Boat for Dal Lake, Srinagar.

The boat was launched today in function held at Nehru Park, Dal Lake, Srinagar in which Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah (IAS), D.C Srinagar was the Chief Guest on the occasion; Mrs Purnima Mittal (KAS), ADC, Srinagar; Mr. Riyaz Ahmad Beigh (KAS), SDM, Srinagar; Mr. Masarat Hasim(KAS) Deputy Director Tourism, Srinagar were the Guests of Honour while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.

12 Students of B.Tech 1st Year namely Danish shafi (Khrew Pampore), Bilal Ah shah (Khrew Pampore), Umer Farooq (Shopian), Muskaan Qadir (Ganderbal) along with other team members have developed two seater boat with the load carrying capacity of 150 Kg. The boat is made up of Deodhar frame and plywood body with front steering system.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group appreciated the students and Faculty members who were working on this project since last Month. Kataria said that the idea behind this project is to minimize human fatigue and make effective usage of renewable energy resources. “Over 1800 Students of Jammu & Kashmir are studying in Aryans who are excelling in all fields” Kataria added.

The boat is 7 feet 2 inch long, 3 feet 6 inch wide and 1 feet 4 inch deep. The battery of 12 volts x 4 Nos & Solar Panel of 75watts x 4 Nos has been installed on the top of the boat. The boat is driven by a DC Motor of 48 volts, 900 watts.

DC, Dr Syed Abid appreciated the students & staff & said that Aryans always motivate its students for the innovations and work on live projects which could bring a revolution in them and the society. He said that Kashmiri students possess the instinct to work if guided and supported in right direction.

Kataria further added that Aryans has already been selected by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy for the Green Campus. Students and Staff of Aryans have started working in this direction with this new innovation.

Mr. Anil, Heasd, Aryans Incubation Centre said that the boat once charged can run upto 2 hours continuously and will be recharged simultaneously through solar energy. It can also be recharged through electricity.

It is to be mentioned that earlier to this, five major innovations done by Aryans students namely “Aryans Android App” in lieu to make campuses paper free, “Aryans Save Kashmir App” which was developed for the rescue operation at the time of floods in Kashmir, “ Aryans Life Saving Glove” developed to provide timely assistance to the people prone to the risk of cardiac disease, “Aryans Safety Helmet” to provide timely first aid facility in case disaster happens at construction/ mining/ industrial sites, “Ramadan App” to solve the problem of Muslim community during Ramadhan for their fasting ; “eMunshi- Advocate Diary” Android App which buzz an alarm and remind the lawyers about the important Court Date and cases etc were launched and applauded at various Government Levels and gained interest of many people.

Aabid Ayoub (Sopore), Ghulam Mohi Ud Din(Khrew Pampore), Ishtiyaq(Khrew Pampore), Mehvish Hassan (Ganderbal), Afla Younis (Kokernag Anantnag), Rabia Aijaz(Anantnag), Gowsia Qadir(Shopian), Akshay Kumar (Udhampur Jammu) were also involved in the project.

MLA Ghanaur released the poster of 46th Aryans Job Fest

MLA Ghanaur, Sh. Madan Lal Jalalpur  released the poster of 46th Aryans Job Fest to be held on 26th July at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh. Free registration is going on Aryans website www.aryans.edu.in.

Madan Lal Jalalpur while appraising and highlighting said that Aryans has made a new record by organizing frequent job fests and has set an example for other colleges also. He further said that in today’s scenario only those colleges who are putting their efforts in placing their students best in the top companies could survive in the education industry.

Jalalpur further said that Aryans has opened the doors for the students of other Colleges also giving them a single platform to face various companies on a single day.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans. Group said that more than 20 companies including Tech Mahindra, Softtrix Web Solutions LLP, Mechlin Technologies, Zapbuild Technologies Pvt. Ltd, CINIF Technologies Limited, AutoDesk, Bluechip Tech India Pvt. Ltd., Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited, Patentskart etc have already given their written confirmation for the job fest.

Sidhu further said that in this fest, job opportunities would be available for the passed out/passing out students of B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, M.Tech, Diploma, ITI, Nursing etc. She further said that candidates need to carry 10 copies of their resumes and passport size photographs with them.
