International Cool City Hunt Research Programme organized in Chandigarh by AGC

Dr.Carl Rohde, Professor in Marketing, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands today organized “International Cool City Hunt Research Programme” in PHD Chamber, Sec-31, Chandigarh. The event was hosted by Chandigarh-based Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC). Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function. It is to be mentioned that Fontys University, Netherlands has collaboration with Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) and in December, last year agreement was signed by both organization.

International Cool City Hunt Research Programme is being organized globally by Dr.Carl Rohde on the International trends. The programme has already being organized in China, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Canada, Holland, Belgium, Span, Italy etc. Now Dr.Carl Rohde is in India on his mission to aware Chandigarh students on the International Cool City Hunt Research Programme. The objective of the programme was to make students aware of trends in production in marketing and production including international coolhunting & its aspects namely cool Experience Economy, Cool Masculinities, Cool Femininities, Cool Environment, Cool Relax and Cool Internet.

While addressing the around 200 Aryans MBA, BBA students he said that participants have to ‘hunt’ for everything they think is ‘cool’. As per the definition of Science of the Time’s ‘Cool’ is “attractive and inspiring with future growth potential”. It is not about the gadgets but the mentalities behind it. Cool hunting is simply searching for things, products, services, people that are attractive and inspiring with future growth potential for you. This could be everything as long as you are able to explain why you think it is cool.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that the Cool Hunt if integrated in the curriculum, students will get a clear view on the international trends. Subjects such as marketing, marketing research, and consumer behavior can thus be put in an international perspective.

On the Occasion Prof. D.C. Kataria, Vice Chairman, Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General,Dr. K. K. Mangla, Dr. D. P. Singh, Dr.Manjit Kalra, Dr. A. S. Balgir & Dr. T.L Kaushal were also present.
