“With the demonetization on 500 and 1000 rupee notes, soon India would emerge as one of the biggest cash less economy in the World in coming years. Not only this with a whopping 51% annual growth, India’s E-Commerce revenue is expected to jump from USD 30 billion in 2016 to USD 120 billion in 2020, growing at an annual rate of 51%, the highest in the world beating China, Japan, South Korea etc”
Nearly 3,50,000 staff already working under E-commerce business industry, India’s E-Commerce Sector would likely to generate nearly 2.5 lakhs jobs in the online retail in the next year including temporary employees, supply chain, logistics, ancillary units etc.
This was said by various online & E-Commerce Industry experts from Amazon, Paytm, Woxa-Technologies etc while interacting with over 3000 Job Seekers in 39th Aryans Job Fest held today at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura. Over 245 Candidates have got shortlisted out of in one day Job Fest by over 56 Companies.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said, “Through this job fair we aim to open exciting career avenues to the youth of Punjab and other States, while making fresh talent available to the industry. Students aspiring for an exciting career in IT can look forward to interacting directly with leading companies at the same place during this fest.”
B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group commenting on the occasion said that apart from Amazon and Paytm; Seo Discovery, Eiti Appin, Estreet IT, JSR Technologies, 9I Tech, Outline System, Health Pulse, Vault up, Goteso, Ambersoft, Aturs Enterprises, Angel broking, Amar Hospital, Arnav info soft, WebTek Labs Pvt. Ltd, Shaljon etc were the prominent companies where heavy rush was witnessed. The average salary offered was between 1.25 lacs per annum to 4 lacs per annum.
Students from various Colleges/Universities including Patel Memorial Colleges; RIMT; DAV College, Ambala; Guru Jamdheshwar University, Hisar;College of Engineering Roorkee; Ludhiana Group of Colleges, Kurukshetra University; Punjabi University, Patiala etc participated in the fest.
