Hundreds of Students Appeared for Interviews at Aryans for 22 Seats Under Kiran Bedi Initiative

Dr.Kiran Bedi, India’s first and highest ranked woman IPS officer visited Aryans campus on 26th July to interview the candidates for the selection of needy & deserving in MBA & BBA course (11 seats each). A large number of applications were received from the students of different parts of India. These students include not only from Punjab and Chandigarh but also from Haryana, HP, and UP. During the selection process, different parameters like Merit, Means, Parents socio economic status, Background of the candidate, Achievements were taken into consideration.

The selected students would be financially supported by Aryans Group of Colleges for their entire education that includes not only the tuition fees but expenses on uniforms, books etc.

While addressing the students, Dr. Kiran Bedi said that if the will to study is there, then financial constraints cannot become a hurdle. She further added that if one is determined, then resources would automatically follow. In order to be successful in life, one must be ready to face challenges.

During this occasion, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that “We feel very lucky and privileged to be a part of efforts initiated by Dr.Kiran Bedi and her team. We are extremely happy that needy students are being supported through this programme.”

It is to be mentioned that recently Dr.Kiran Bedi visited Chandigarh and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC). The selected candidates would study at Aryans campus located at Vill. Nepra, Chd-Patiala highway, Teh Rajpura.

Kataria(Vice Chairman), Mrs. Rajni Kataria(Finance Secretary), Dr. Praveen Kataria(Director General), Dr. K. K. Mangla, Dr. A.S. Balgir, Dr.Manjit Kalra, Dr. Nindru Bal (Directors, Aryans Group)  & Dr. Anuradha Agnihotri were also present on this occasion.
