HDFC Bank yesterday visited Aryans Business School (ABS) for the campus placements of its MBA students. Mr. Sirish Garg (Area Sales Head, Current Accounts) and Mr. Somender Singh Tomar (Area Sales Head) were part of the team which had visited the campus.
A pre-placement talk was held in which the team of experts addressed the students and answered their queries. The bank has short listed around 13 students for further interviews to be held at its corporate office.
Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS said that in this Placement Month, around 30 national and multi national companies (MNCs) would be visiting ABS for the placements of the first batch of around 60 MBA students.
The Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) was amongst the first to receive an ‘in principle’ approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to set up a bank in the private sector, as part of the RBI’s liberalisation of the Indian Banking Industry in 1994. The bank HDFC Bank has been declared the ‘Best Local Bank’ in India in a survey conducted last month. The bank has been ranked 2nd in the category of Private Banking Services Overall.
