Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh launched “Aryans Special Scholarship Scheme for the wards of Army Personnel” in a press conference held today at Mohali. General JJ Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd) (Ex Army Chief) and Former Governor, Arunachal Pradesh was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event.
Under this special scheme, 50 students will be benefitted who would get 50% Scholarship in various courses being offered at Aryans i.e. B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, Diploma, GNM, BA, B.Com, ANM, LLB, BA-LLB etc. Those who are interested in getting this scholarship can call on Toll free Helpline 1800-30000-388 or visit www.aryans.edu.in. This Special Scholarship can be availed by the wards of Army Personnel- All ranks, Paramilitary Personnel, Territorial Army (T.A) Personnel etc.
General JJ Singh said that it is a great gratitude of Aryans Group towards soldiers of the country. He said that soldiers take care of security and safety of the country while in its initiative Aryans Group is going to take responsibilities of the soldiers.
General JJ Singh (Retd) after the launch of the scheme said that this is a great and unique initiative being taken by Aryans Group to help the wards of Army Personnel to study in Aryans by providing them the Financial Support. He added that this special scholarship is very beneficial for the wards of External and Internal Securities who have spent the prime time of their lives in the service of our motherland.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that there are various Army Schools where the children of Army Personnel get good Education. But after schooling, for getting Professional education, they have to go to Private Colleges where the Fee Structure is very high. He added that now, new avenues are being opened by Aryans especially for children of Army personnel.
It is to be mentioned that the scholarship was launched by Gen JJ Singh in the year 2014 for the wards of Army Personnel which has now been extended further for the year 2017-18.
