Aryans College of Engineering organised online gaming competition

Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh organised online gaming event for students at its campus. Various games like FIFA, Counter-Strike, and N.F.S. Counterstrike were organised at the moment. A first-person shooter video game developed by Valve Corporation was the main attraction of the day. Ever since its first release in 2000 counters strike has been one of the most popular LAN game of this era. Participants had a great time as well as had tough competition at the moment.

He further motivated the students to take part in extracurricular activities so that they can excel in this competitive world. According to him, such competitions offer a wealth of innovation and talent that shape the future generation.

In online supersonic gaming competition, Team B stood first under the leadership of professional Abhishek whereas team D remain second under the leadership of Parveen .Team A and Team C stood Third at the moment in the competition.

Seminar on Online and Digital Media Organized by Aryans Business School

A seminar on “Online and Digital media: Recession- the Great Chance?” was organized today by Aryans Businesnews98s School (ABS) at the campus today. The chief guest & key note speaker on the occasion was Mr. Satwinder Singh Saimbi (US returned), Co- Founder & Director, MBAUniverse.com (a leading portal ofMBA aspirants & students). BBA & MBA students of ABS, Aryans School of Management (ASM) and Aryans Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT) attended the function. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Saimbi said that the global financial recession has further enhanced the use of digital media as compared to conventional ways. He highlighted that the Internet user base increased by 8 million between April & September 2008 while Online advertising is projected to grow at 34% and to reach Rs. 770 million by the year 2010.
