“Athletic Meet-09” Organized at Aryans Business School (ABS)

Aryans Business School (ABS) organized “Athletic Meet-09” in the college campus today. Students of Aryans Business School (ABS), Aryans School of Management (ASM) and Aryans Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT) participated in this athletic meet. Prof. D. C. Kataria, Vice- Chairman, Aryans Educational & Charitable Trust (AECT) was the chief guest on the occasion.

news101The day started with the flag hoisting ceremony and with an impressive parade by students. In the outdoor category, students took part in 50m, 100 m, 110m hurdle, 200 meter, 400m, 400m relay and 800-meter races. Other games such as volley ball, high jump, long jump, javelin throw, discuss throw, shotput, pole vault etc. were also carried out. Students also took part in various indoor games like table tennis, badminton, carom, chess, gymnastics etc. In the end fun games like potato race, sack race, eating noodles, finding balls in mud, three legged race, tug of war etc. split everybody into peels of laughter.

Later in the day, Prof. D. C. Kataria gave away the prizes to the winners and congratulated them. Speaking on this occasion he said that sports contribute an important role in the process of building the personality of a student. He also advised the students to adopt game spirit as a life style element.

Aryans Business School Students watch Chak De! India

Students of Aryans Business School (ABS) watched “Chak De! India” at the college campus today. Last year too, it was a part of MBA curriculum in the college. ABS believes that “Chak De” would help understand concepts like human resource management, strategy, motivation, determination, communication skills, leadership , ambition, time management, stress management, team spirit and making the most out of the worst kind of situations.

Ansnews10hu Kataria, Chairman, ABS said that the film has been taken up as a case study through which management students would study various aspects of management which can help them to be good and effective leaders in the future. He stressed that the visual aids always have more impact on the young minds, so the students would effectively learn the management concepts from the film. He also said that various other films such as “Corporate”, “Taare Zameen Par”, “Iqbal” & “Lagaan” would also be screened for the students and teachers in this academic session.
