Mr.Anil Joshi, Cabinet Minister for Industry & Commerce, Technical Education & Industrial Training Punjab would be the Chief Guest. Over 1000 Students Participated in “Shaping Young Minds” organised by Chandigarh Management Association (CMA)

Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) organised today an event ‘Shaping Young Minds” at Tagore Theatre Sector-18, Chandigarh. This event is an initiative of, N.Delhi. More than 1000 students drawn from various institutions of the Tricity attended this event

Inaugurating the programme Mr.Kamal Singh, Director All India Management Association (AIMA), the sponsors of the event, said that this is the third event in a row. First, two programmes were organised in Lucknow and Hyderabad. He said that the event seeks to help young people find their career path. He said in this programme young students of professional institutions are exposed to eminent speakers who address the students with their anecdotal, storytelling and coaching style; laced with their personal experiences.

The institutions, which participated in this event, included Aryans Group of Colleges, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes, Gurukul Vidyapeeth, IIPM, ITFT Education Group, RICM and SASIIT, Mohali.

Dr Gulshan Sharma, President CMA  said that many young people today have bright minds, which need shaping up on what to expect in a professional career – they are always seeking advice from icons. The programme objectives are to inspire young people aspiring to enter in professional domains.

Three speakers who addressed the students were Ms Sangeeta Talwar: MD & CEO of NDDB Dairy Services, Prof. Bibek Debroy, noted economists and Mr Anil Sachdev, Founder and CEO of the School of Inspired Learning. All three speakers left the student audience spellbound.

Sangeeta Talwar while narrating her successes and failures in her career building said that nothing is impossible in life if you have the will and desire. Professional Students need to acquire marketing skills to sell their talent and potential to the prospective employers. Dr. Geeta Joshi, Principal Army Law College,Mohali chaired the session.

Prof Bibek Debroy said that what he achieved in life was more of an accident that designed. But he that now his consolidated life time experiences tell that it is better to undertake those jobs or activities, which endears you most rather guided by desires of outside advisers. He said that he left many lucrative jobs in India and abroad which did not interest him. Dr.P.K.Vasudeva, former professor (international trade) ICFAI chaired the session.

Mr.Anil Sachdev gave a heart rendering motivational speech and narrated how Hotel Taj employees save the life of their customers, when terrorist attacked the hotel, even under the threat of their own life. He said many employees lost their dear ones but they stood their ground showing their commitment to their organisation. He said that even corporate can build loyalties in their employees with value system. Dr.Gulshan Sharma, President CMA Chaired this session.

Aryans Business School MBA Studrns Visited Coca Cola

The MBA students of Chandigarh based Aryans Business School (ABS) organized Industrial Visit to COCA COLA Plant, Kandhari Beverages Pvt Ltd, Nabipur; Fatehgarh Sahib. The students visited various sub plants including Water Purification Plant, Mixture Plant, Bottle Manufacture Plant, Bottle Verification Plant and Syrup Plant.

The purpose of the visit was to make students aware of the various practical aspects of manufacturing industry. Mr.Jagmohan Singh, Quality Assistant and Mr. Gursewak Singh, Assistant Manager, interacted with the students and gave an in-depth insight of the various manufacturing concepts.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS said that such industrial visits would enhance the practical knowledge about management. The various management concepts being taught in the classrooms get clarified after experiencing them physically in the industry itself. He added that such visits would continue to be there for MBA students so that they can learn the concepts with a better approach. It provides a unique opportunity for students to gain an insight into a working environment related to a subject area.

“Picasso Animation” Shortlisted 24 MBA Students of Aryans Group of Colleges

24 MBA students were shortlisted by “Picasso Animation” at Campus Placement Drive held at Aryans Business School (ABS) here recently. Mr. Deepak Kumar (Business Development Manager) and Mr. Livleen Singh (Business Development Manager), Picasso Animation, delivered a pre-placement talk which was followed by the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal interview.

Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) said that the Training & Placement Department of Aryans is well-equipped to train students to face the campus recruitment process. Students are given training in aptitude tests, group discussions, and personal interviews. Special coaching classes are arranged for personality development, communication skills development etc.

ICICI Securities Visited Aryans Business School for Placements

ICICI Securities Ltd today visited Aryans Business School (ABS) for placements of its MBA students. Mr. Naveen Sukhija (Channel Sales Manager) and Sachin Goel (Channel Sales Manager) were a part of the team which had visited the campus.

news91On the occasion, a pre-placement talk was held in which the team of experts addressed the students and answered their queries. Following this, personal interviews (PI) of the students were held in which 15 candidates have been shortlisted for the summer placements.
