Aryans Organizes Industrial visits to Nahar, Sebiz Infotech and Verka

Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh organized industrial visits to Nahar Spinning Mills Ltd, Lalru; Sebiz Infotech and Verma Milk Plant, Mohali, for its Engineering, Management, BBA and BCA students.

Aryans Organizes Industrial visits to Nahar, Sebiz Infotech and VerkaDr. A.L. Gaaba, Director, Aryans Group of Colleges while giving more information said that Management students were taken to Nahar Spinning Mills and Sebiz Infotech while Engineering students were taken to Verma Milk Plant.

Gaaba while giving more information said that in Nahar Sinning mill the Students were also introduced to engineers and technical staff to the working style of the industry. The apprentices visited the different department of production wings of sipping mill and observe the working of various equipment used for production yarn (mixing from to spindle).

Ms Divyapreet Kaur, HOD, Aryans Group said that students got chance to visit the units where various milk-based products like Curd, Butter, Kheer, Lassi etc are being produced at Verka Milk Plant whereas at Sebiz Infotech students were made aware about Software Development services including Web & Mobile application development and Search Engine Marketing services.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group said “Industrial visits provide a clear picture to students about the organization. Thus, it is very important for every budding managers and businessman in the making with the zeal for a bright future,”

Sidhu further added that it was certainly a great experience for students as they got to know more about the working environment of industry an interactive session with their mentors and Engineers.

Aryans Organizes Industrial Visit to Diesel Loco Modernisation Works

Mohali 18th October

To give exposure to the students with industrial life, Mechanical Department of Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh organized an industrial visit to Diesel Loco Modernisation Works, Indian Railways at Patiala for B.Tech Mechanical students.

Aryans Organizes Industrial Visit to Diesel Loco Modernization WorksStudents visited various departments and learned about Maintenance, up gradation, rebuilding, and modernization of Deisel Locos. The purpose of the visit was to make students aware of the various practical aspects of industry.

The students were benefited in terms of the technical details provided by the company on an important part of Recruitment Policy by Company and Various Career Opportunities in industries. Mr. Ravinder Singh, PRO interacted with the students and gave in-depth insight of the various manufacturing concepts.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that such industrial visits would benefit and bring a positive change in the thinking and practical behavior regarding Education and specially Engineering in the students. It provides a unique opportunity for students to gain an insight into a working environment related to a subject area.

Aryans Group of Colleges organizes various Industrial Visits

For giving Practical exposure to the students, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh organized visits to 3 different Industries for its Engineering, Management and BCA students. The students spent the fruitful hours with the executives of the Industries. The Industries for the visit were chosen according to the branches and specializations of the courses of the students.

Aryans Group of Colleges organizes various Industrial VisitsProf. A P Jain, Director, Aryans Group of Colleges while giving more information said that Mechanical students were taken to Swaraj Division Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Mohali; Management students were taken to Verka Milk Plant, Mohali and students of Computer Applications (BCA) were taken to Piford Technologies, Mohali.

Prof B S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group said that main work in Swaraj division is the assembly of different parts of the tractor, so students got a very good exposure by visiting this division. He added that the students were given in-depth insight of Machine Shop, Heat Treatment Shop, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Unit, Small Scale Assembly, Large Scale Assembly, Paint Shop and Final Inspection unit.

Ms. Divyapreet Kaur, HOD, Aryans Group said that during the visit at Piford Technologies, students learned the working process of the company. They were shown various areas and Concepts in the Industry like their Training unit, Live projects etc. The students were also provided a Seminar based on “Android Application & Microcontroller”.

While giving details of the visit to Verka Plant she further said that the students got a chance to visit the units where various milk-based products like Curd, Butter, Kheer, Lassi etc are being produced at Verka.

Prof. Jain further said that this type of industrial visit is very beneficial for students from which they get to learn about many things. Such events should occur in every organization because these types of events enhance the basic knowledge of the students which helps in their future life. He further added that we are aiming to have these types of events in future also.

Aryans Business School Organizes Industrial Visit to Avon Cycles, Ludhiana

Aryans Business School (ABS), Chandigarh organized an industrial visit for its MBA students. Around 60 students visited Avon Cycles Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana. They visited various department of the company including Manufacturing, Marketing, Human Resources, Research & Development and Finance. The purpose of the visit was to make students aware of the various practical management aspects.

The students spent the entire day with the executives of the Industries. The Industries for the visit were chosen according to the branches and specializations of the courses of the students. The students during the visits were given in depth insight of the various concepts in the respective Industries.

Aryans College of Engineering students visit 5 different IndustriesGiving this information, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that the Electronics and Electrical students were taken to PUNCOM, Mohali; Mechanical and Computer Science students were taken to Diesel Loco Modernisation works (DMW), Patiala; Mechanical students were taken to COCA COLA Plant, Fatehgarh Sahib; Civil branch students were taken to A1 Builders, Patiala; Polytechnic Diploma students were taken to Amrit Banaspati Company, Rajpura. He added that the students were accompanied by their faculty members and officials from the company during the visits.
