Satinder Sartaj to perform live on 22nd July at North Country Mall in Aryans live in concert

Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh and North Country Mall are organizing live-in concert with Satinder Sartaj on 22nd July, 6pm onwards at North Country Mall, Kharar. The Sufi night is being organized by Atlas outdoor Company.

Sartaj is the first Punjabi Sufi Singer who has worked in first Hollywood movie “The Black Prince” which is all set to release in English, Hindi, Punjabi on 21st July worldwide.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group and Mr. Ishpreet Singh Vicky, MD, Atlas Outdoor Media while speaking said that Sartaj has started his musical career with Sufi song “Sai” and now is an acclaimed Punjabi poet-singer and actor. Kataria further said it’s a moment of proud for all Punjabis that Satinder Sartaj will be featured in one of the Hollywood movies.

The story has been written and directed by Kavi Raz featuring Satinder Sartaj as the Black Prince (Maharaja Duleep Singh). The story is based on the true story of the last king of Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Maharaja Duleep Singh was given the throne at the age of 5 after the death of his father Maharaja Ranjit Singh. At the age 15, the Britishers tore him away from his mother and took him to England. The moment he was introduced to Queen Victoria, she started liking him and called him ‘The Black Prince’. Then he was taught about Christianity and baptized, that changed his life forever.

After 13 years, he met his mother and was awakens to the realities of his earlier life in Punjab. After that, he began the journey to regain all his lost and re-embrace the faith of Sikhism. The character of Maharaja Duleep Singh was torn into 2 cultures and faces constant dilemmas and the whole story depict the lifelong struggle of “The black prince” to regain his kingdom.

Aryans Group to organize 2nd Scholarship Mela on 29th July

After the success of 1st scholarship Mela and on the demand of students, Aryans group of Colleges, Chandigarh is organizing 2nd Scholarship Mela. The Mela would be held on 29th July at PHD Chamber, Sec-31, Chandigarh.

Interested students can apply directly on Aryans website www.aryans.edu.in or can give a missed call on Tollfree helpline No 1800-3000-0388 or may submit their registration form in Aryans Campus situated on Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while giving more information said that in this scheme another 100 students would be selected under scholarship on merit cum means basis in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan.

Students can avail the scholarship benefits in the courses as B.Tech (1.80 Lacs), Diploma (45,000), MBA (90,000); B.Sc(Agri)(40,000), BBA/BCA (40,000), B.Com (23,000), BA-LL.B (20,000), LL.B (20,000), B.Ed (20,000), GNM (15,000), ANM (10,000), MA (Education) (15,000), BA (5000) etc.

The scholarship would help those students who have marks but no means. It would help to empower underprivileged youth of the Nation through relevant and technical education, innovative ideas and market-focused livelihood programmes at Aryans.

Teej celebrated at Aryans Group

The celebrations of Colorful ‘jovial’ festival ‘Teej  started today at Aryans Group of Colleges at its campus at Chandigarh – Patiala, Near Chandigarh with Traditional fervour. The young girl students & staff danced to the tunes of traditional Punjabi music.

The girls recited ‘Bolian’ (verses from folk music) and performed ‘Giddha’ to welcome the ‘Savan’, the rain month, with which the festival is associated. The girls, wearing traditional, colourful dresses broke into dances on the beats of the dhol. However, there was also modern music and thus the recent Punjabi pop songs also added to the celebrations.

Director, Aryans Group, Raman Rani Gupta appreciated the efforts of the girls and said the festival of Teej was a symbol of our cultural heritage. She said the celebration of all such festivals and functions not only provide joy, but were also a way of reviving and keeping alive the traditions and customs which were vanishing these days.

Registrar, Aryans Group, Ms. Sukhaman Batch said that the festival reminds one of the happy times in life. She said that the festival was traditionally celebrated in Punjab during the month of rain and rued that traditional festivals like these were being forgotten by the younger generation, who spend most of their times on internet and watching movies.

Private players should help the needy students under corporate social responsibility: Brahm Mohindra

Around 100 meritorious and needy students of the tricity & Punjab finally got selected in Aryans Scholarship Mela under various scholarship schemes in technical and non technical courses held today at PHD Chamber, Sector-31, Chandigarh. Sh. Brahm Mohindra, Health & Family Welfare, Medical Education & Research Minister was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Dr. M.S. Ghuge, Regional Officer, AICTE; Dr. Kulbir Singh Dhillon, Dean, Punjabi University, Patiala; Dr. Ashok Goel, Director, College Development Council, MRS-PTU, Bathinda were the Guests of Honour on the occasion. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.

Out of total 100 students, 25 students got selected under B.Tech course, 25 under Diploma & LEET courses, 15 in B.Sc (Agri), 10 in B.Ed, 10 in BBA & BCA, 10 in nursing, 5 in MA (Edu).

Brahm Mohindra while speaking said that the private institutions involved in the education and health sector should come forward to help the needy students who want to pursue their higher studies under social corporate responsibility. Addressing the students he said that the quality of education also needs to be improved in these private institutions and should be at par with the global standards. He urged other institutions to come forward and organize such scholarship melas.

Dr. M.S Ghuge, Regional Officer, AICTE while speaking said that 90% of technical education is being offered by the private institutions of the region. Considering this, these institutions should provide free education to some students.

Dr. Kulbir Singh Dhillon while speaking on the occasion said that out of 265 institutions under the jurisdiction of Punjabi University, Aryans is one of the top institution having Law, Education, Agriculture courses affiliated to Punjabi University. “Apart from academics students are excelling in cultural, sports and innovations activities.

Dr. Ashok Goel while speaking on the occasion said that to fulfill the need and demand of the poor students, MRS-PTU has also implemented Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme for meritorious and poor students to pursue Technical Education. He further said that other affiliating Colleges should also take such initiatives which would motivate the financially constraint youth to come forward and achieve their goals & fulfill their dreams.

Dr. Anshu Kataria while congratulating the selected students said that Aryans has always tried to give best to the society and the students. He said that in today’s world when technical education is out of reach of a common man then private institutions should come forward and identify such students who have marks but no means so that their dreams shouldn’t go dry due to their financial problem.

Education Institutions should provide free education to some students:-Medical Education Minister

“In today’s World, Medical and Technical education has become non affordable because of financial constraints for a common man. Considering the same, every educational institution should come forward and adopt few needy and deserving students. To identify meritorious students scholarship Mela should be held in various districts & tehsils”

This was said by Sh. Brahm Mohindra, Hon’ble Medical Education & Research Minister today while launching the poster of Aryans Scholarship Mela in a function held at Chandigarh. He appraised this initiative of Aryans. Sh. Dr.  Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.

100 students to get 50% Scholarship

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while giving more information said that under this scheme a total of 100 students be selected in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan.

Kataria further added that this scholarship would be given to those students who have marks but no means and are interested to pursue their education in technical courses. Aryans would admit these students in various courses including B.Tech, LEET, Diploma, B.Sc (Agri), BBA, BCA, B.Com, MBA. He added that SC/ST students can also avail 100% scholarship under Centre Govt. PMS scheme on all courses.

The scholarship would help to empower underprivileged youth of the Nation through relevant and technical education, innovative ideas and market-focused livelihood programmes at Aryans.

Students can also avail one time scholarship in other courses also including LL.B (20,000), BA-LL.B (20,000), ANM (10,000), MA(Edu)(15,000), B.Ed (20,000), BA (20,000), GNM (15,000) etc.
