2 days seminar on Research in Engineering: – Challenges & Opportunities organised at Aryans Campus

Mechanical Engineering Department of Aryans Colleges of Engineering (ACE), Rajpura near Chandigarh organised two days National Seminar on Research in Engineering:- Challenges & Opportunities at its Campus. Er Varinder Pal Singh Kalsi, Former Scientist & HOD, Mechanical, Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh; Dr. Sanjay Kajal, HOD, Mechanical, UIET, Kurukshetra University; Dr. Devinder Singh, Assistant professor (Physics), Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib; Dr. Jatinder Pal Singh, Lecturer (Mathematics), GSSS, Sangatpur Sodhian, Fatehgarh Sahib; Dr. Vivek Jain, Associate Professor and Dr. Dheeraj Gupta, Associate Professor from Thapar Institute, Patiala were the speakers on the occasion.

Er. Varinder Pal Singh Kalsi shared his views on the use of quality material to obtain the customised product. He further discussed the change of properties in the material occurred due to heating, annealing, hardening or quenching etc and the performance of the material.

Dr. Sanjay Kajal motivated students to correlate the theoretical knowledge with the existing industrial needs and to meet the challenges of today’s industrial needs and to use knowledge wisely to solve them. He motivated the students to devote the time, plan and to do feasibility study of project before implementing action.

Dr. Davinder Singh discussed various aspects of glass, Thermal analysis on glass, physical and chemical properties. He mentioned the uses of Barium Glass over Lead based glass and uses of glass to trap radioactive waste.

Dr. Jatinder Pal Singh mentioned the use of fuzzy logic and devices and thereby reducing cost and time for transportation, assignment etc.

Dr. Vivek Jain & Dr. Dheeraj Gupta discussed about Micro–Machining and surface Engineering. They highlighted the role of natural activities in researches for the development of new products and machines and the use of communication and Microwave radiations for communication, heating etc.

50 meritorious JK students selected in Aryans JK Scholarship Mela

50 meritorious and deserving students of JK have been selected today under Scholarship in Aryans JK Scholarship Mela organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today at Peace Academy & Nature Academy, Parraypora, Srinagar. Er. Ishfaq Ahmad, Admissions Coordinator, JK said that over 200 students from the region visited the mela wherein they were given on the spot counseling & scope of various courses, on the spot scholarship, on the spot admission.

Ishfaq while congratulating the students said that Aryans has taken the initiative and has started a series in which those students who are deprived of pursuing higher education would be benefitted from maximum part of JK.

Ishfaq further said that Aryans has already started admissions for its 12th academic session for various courses like B.Tech, LEET, LL.B, BA-LL.B, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, GNM, ANM, B.Sc (Agri), B.Ed, MA(Edu), Diploma, BA etc.

  Er. Rayees Ahmad, Faculty, Aryans Group said that Aryans has become an education hub for the JK students. He added that Aryans is the only Campus outside Kashmir, Near Chandigarh having more than 1800 students from various parts of JK. Rayees added that Aryans JK students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In Academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU Merit list.

It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. Aryans Group has been serving the educational and intellectual interests of the youth in a commendable manner. The group is running Engineering College, Law College, Management College, Business School, Education College, Degree College, Nursing College and Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).

Super 30 Fame, Anand Kumar applauded Aryans Group, Chandigarh

Sh Anand Kumar, Fame Super 30 of Bihar applauded Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh for their initiatives in Higher & Technical education. Anand Kumar was interacting to the media after the inauguration of Aryans Scholarship Mela for Bihar students.

Anand Kumar assured Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group that he will fully support all the future endeavours of Aryans for the upliftment of Bihar students and to support the Scholarship projects for these students.

Anand Kumar further added that every student cannot get admission in IIT or can afford higher fees structure of many other private Institutions. Aryans is doing commendable job in helping financially weak students of Bihar to fulfill their education dreams by giving them scholarships.

It is to be mentioned that Reliance Entertainment is making a biopic on the life of Anand Kumaralso in which Bollywood Actor Hrithik Roshan is playing the role of Anand Kumar. The movie is being shot in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi and may release at the year end.

It is to be mentioned that Anand Kumar, best known for his Super 30 programme was born in Patna. He had secured a place at the Cambridge University but because of his financial condition, he could not take admission. He has been honoured by the British Columbia for his contribution in the field of education. For the last 14 years, Kumar has been tutoring students from underprivileged sections for IIT-JEE entrance examinations. He has been tutoring them free of cost. He has also been invited to talk at IIM Ahmedabad, British Columbia, Tokyo University, Stanford University and IITs.

Aryans Group to organize JK Scholarship Mela on 17th March

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that in this mela On the spot counseling, On the spot Scholarship, On the spot Education Loan, On the spot Admission would be offered to 100 meritorious, needy and deserving students in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan who want to pursue their higher education in Chandigarh at Aryans Group.

Kataria further added that Students need to bring their original certificates of class 10th or 12th or Graduation along with ID Proof, Caste Certificate, Address proof, Passport size photograph etc.

Students can avail 50% scholarship in various courses being run by Aryans like B.Tech, LEET, Diploma, B.Sc (Agri), BBA, BCA, B.Com, MBA courses. SC/ST students can also avail 100% scholarship under Centre Govt. PMS scheme on all courses.

Students can also avail one time scholarship in other courses also including LL.B (20,000), BA-LL.B (20,000), ANM (10,000), MA (Edu)(15,000), B.Ed (20,000), BA (20,000), GNM (15,000) etc.

To support financially weaker sections of the society Aryans has started many scholarship schemes. The group is admitting students under Dr. Kiran Bedi Scholarship scheme, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme, Dr. Kalam Memorial Reignited Scholarship Scheme, Late Sh. M.R Kataria Memorial Scholarship, Roshaan Scholarship Scheme etc.

Miss Pooja & Gippy announces Aryans lucky Tab & Laptop winner

Miss Pooja & Gippy Grewal announced the names of the lucky winners of Aryans Free Tab and Laptop in the 2 days musical show organized by Chandigarh Tourism on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Sector-17, Chandigarh.

Mr. Bharat S/o Sh. Tarsem from Chandigarh has won a Free Tab and Mr. Neeru Singla S/o Sh. Anil Singla of Phase 7, Mohali has won the free Laptop from Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh who was the education partner in 3 days Rose festival.

Sh. Davesh Moudgil, Mayor, Chandigarh; Sh. Jitender Yadav, IAS, Director Tourism; Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh were present on the 2 days of the function.

It is to be mentioned that this free tab and laptop was to be announced in the rose festival but because of bad weather it could not be announced earlier in the rose festival.
