Haryana girl shines in Nursing Result at Aryans

Pooja Verma (Kalka), Haryana of GNM 2nd Year of Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura Near Chandigarh bagged 1st position by scoring 71% marks in the final examinations conducted by Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC).

Other 2 Students namely Riya (Rajpura), Punjab bagged 2nd position by scoring 67.71% while Manisha (Chandigarh), bagged 3rd position by scoring 67.14% in GNM course.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group congratulated the students and faculty for the continuous efforts and hard work done. Kataria said that apart from regular academics, extracurricular activities like workshops, seminars, community and clinical postings on nursing are also being organized time to time to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students.

It is to be mentioned that Aryans Institute of Nursing is running GNM (3 Years) and ANM (2 Years Course) approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and Affiliated to Punjab Nurses Registration Council PNRC, Mohali. The course focuses on the study of health care of various individuals. Students are also trained on how to take care of equipment, setting up of Operation Theater, provide medication timely to patient and maintenance of records etc.

Admissions at Aryans Institute of Nursing in GNM and ANM course have already been started for 2019-20 session. In nursing, Aryans have 40 seats in GNM Course and 20 seats in ANM Course. Most of the students after doing GNM Course migrate to other countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc and get very good remuneration in these Countries.

Aryans Institute of Nursing celebrates International Nurses Day

Aryans Institute of Nursing (AIN), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh celebrated International Nurses day under the theme “Nursing: The Balance of Mind, Body and Spirit” at Aryans Campus. Dr. Meghna Sharma, NEOSKIN and Laser Clinic, Rajpura; Mrs. Vijayluxmi, Nursing Tutor, Govt. Nursing College, Patiala; Dr. S.J Singh, Anesthesiologist SMO, AP Jain Hospital, Rajpura; Mrs. Satwinder Kaur, Nursing Superintendent, AP Jain hospital Rajpura were the special guests on the occasion.  GNM and ANM students of Aryans Institute of Nursing participated in the various activities organized on the occasion.

The function commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony. Students organized oath ceremony, Rangoli Competition, Poster making Competition, Cultural activities etc on the theme to mark the celebration and exhibit their responsibilities towards society.

Nursing students while taking oath pledged to serve the society with their profession during their studies as well as after the completion of their course. The students also took the oath to uphold the values of their Nursing profession. 

Dr. Meghna Sharma & Mrs. Vijayluxmi emphasized the fact that the nurses have a great responsibility to improve the health of the population. Today nursing has evolved into a profession with a wealth of skills and professional knowledge. She added that nursing is a noble profession and the whole principle of healthcare profession stands on selfless service.

Dr. S.J Singh & Mrs Satwinder Kaur while speaking about the nursing profession said that though it is getting commercialized and corporatized nurses should not forget the novel principle behind the profession. She said that the main motto of the nursing profession should be Service and not Earning.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while congratulating the students and staff said that nurses had a significant role in society and the profession of nursing was the noblest of all as it was entirely serving humanity

It is to be mentioned that International Nurses day is celebrated every year on 12th May to mark the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is widely considered the founder of modern nursing. The function was celebrated a day before to mark the importance.

In the 4th Batch at Aryans College of Law, 3 Courses including LL.B (3 Years), BA-LL.B (5 Years), B.Com (5 Years) are running presently. These courses are approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi & Affiliated from Punjabi University, Patiala.


Graduation/Post Graduation (in any stream) with minimum 45% marks and 40% in case of SC/ST are eligible for LL.B (3 years course)

10+2 (in any stream) with minimum 45% marks and 40% in case of SC/ST and Physically handicapped for BA-LL.B or B.Com-LL.B Course.

Aryans-Part of CLAT Now:

In the short span of 4 years, Aryans College of Law is the first Campus which has become the part of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Now the College will use CLAT score to admit the students in its law courses.

Voters’ Awareness Campaign organized at Aryans Campus

Students of Aryans Institute of Nursing and Skill development courses of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today organized a voters’ awareness campaign at its campus. The campaign emphasized the importance of voting.

Students participated in various activities including slogan writing, placards & posters making, Face painting etc to spread the awareness. The students commented that it is necessary to make the electorates aware of their voting rights; something that is of immense significance in ‘strengthening democracy and building a healthier nation’.

Students also joined other groups, urging people not to waste their votes and telling how the public play an important role in elections. Students displayed placards with motivational statements to ensure 100% polling.

Messages such as ‘Your vote is your right, your voice!’ and ‘Don’t be a quitter, be a voter’ was displayed on the placards that the students held during the campaign

It is to be mentioned that the buzz around elections is in full swing in the city as the state goes to poll on May 19, Sunday.

Kashmiri Singer Ishfaq Kawa honoured by Aryans Group at Srinagar

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh honoured Renowned Kashmiri Singer Ishfaq Kawa along with his Kashmiri band “Rooh” in a function organized by Aryans Group in Srinagar.

Ishfaq Kawa along with band “Rooh” has recently performed in Aryans 12th Cultural Extravaganza “Roshaan” held at Aryans Campus. Ishfaq Kawa not only mesmerized the students of Aryans but also motivated the JK Students for good academic results, extracurricular activities etc

While speaking on the occasion, Ishfaq Kawa thanked Aryans for giving a platform to perform in the campus having majority of JK Students which gives the reflection of the mini Kashmir.

Ishfaq Kawa further said that on the demand of Aryans Kashmiri students and Staff, soon the Rooh Band in association with Aryans Group would launch a new musical project to rejuvenate the JK Students with academics, sports, innovations, cultural activities etc.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while speaking said that earlier to this also on the demand of Aryans JK students, Kashmiri Mimicry artist Anwar Kasana has also enthralled Aryans students with his mimicry skills.

Kataria further said that because of its peaceful environment, Aryans has become the 1st choice of JK students near Chandigarh. Around 2000 students from various parts of JK are already studying at Aryans.  

JK students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In Academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU Merit list. Aryans JK students have developed  “Aryans Android App” in lieu to make campuses paper free, “Aryans Save Kashmir App” which was developed for the rescue operation at the time of floods in Kashmir, “ Aryans Life Saving Glove” developed to provide timely assistance to the people prone to the risk of cardiac disease, “Aryans Safety Helmet” to provide timely first aid facility in case disaster happens at construction/ mining/ industrial sites; “Ramadhan App to solve the problem of Muslim community during Ramadhan for their fasting, E-munshi app to remind for the Court dates etc  were launched and applauded at various Government Levels and gained interest of many people.

To support financially weaker sections of the society Aryans has started many scholarship schemes. The group is admitting students under Dr. Kiran Bedi Scholarship scheme, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme, Late Sh. M.R Kataria Memorial Scholarship, Roshaan Scholarship Scheme etc.
