Aryans delegation met Education Minister & Waheed Para at Srinagar

A delegation of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today met with Education Minister Shri Naeem Akther & Shri Waheed Para, Secretary Jammu & Kashmir State Sports Council.The delegation led by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, highlighted the problems being faced by the various students in the country.

Ms. Punika Mahajan, Coordinator, Aryans Group of Colleges said that since last 3-4 years in Punjab the January Batch admissions were permitted, gradually it becomes very popular especially amongst Kashmiri students because they use to save their precious 6 months by starting their studies in technical courses in January instead of July- August. But this year this batch has been stopped. Ms Mahajan requested Education Minister to further request Punjab Government to restart January Batch admissions. She said that in foreign countries there are winter and fall session admissions. Because of ongoing disturbance in valley thousands of students could not secure their admissions in 2016-2017. Education Minister assured that in the interest of students he will take up the matter with Punjab Government.

 

Punika Mahajan also highlighted problems being faced by students selected under Prime minister special scholarship scheme (PMSSS).She said that as per rules maximum 10 students were allotted to each AICTE approved college on the basis of merit & choice. But hundreds of JK students from different parts of country especially from South India shifted to campuses where big numbers of Kashmiri students are studying. Ms. Mahajan requested Education Minister to take up this matter to All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). She said that when student is merit holder then the clause of maximum ten students should not be there and students should have choice for finally selecting the college

 

Meanwhile Aryans, Chandigarh announced Golden chance for those Kashmiri students who could not continue their studies because of the disturbance in the valley ,under Golden chance they will get special classes for syllabus completion & completing attendance, then they will also be given special assistance  in completing their documentation .Aryans also launched special helpline ie.9876299888.

 

It is to be mentioned that due to the disturbance in the valley in last month’s thousands of students couldn’t reach their colleges due to which their eligibility, documentation, attendance, syllabus etc is still incomplete or pending. Now such students can complete their documentations and syllabus in the special classes to be organized by Aryans Group at its campus so that one complete precious year of these students could be saved.

It is to be mentioned that Aryans is becoming the first choice of JK Students in North India. Around 1300 students from various parts of JK are already studying in Aryans under different courses. These students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In Academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU Merit list.

 

Punika while giving information about the innovations made by Aryans JK Students said that Four Kashmiri girls were honored by CM Punjab for developing Aryans Android App in a gathering of more than 50,000 students; Life Saving Glove developed by four Aryans Engineering JK Students has got the appreciation from Fortis Hospital; Aryans Save Kashmir App was launched by Technical Education Minister, Punjab, Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal; A unique GPS and GSM based Aryans Safety Helmet developed by JK students was launched and applauded by Governor Haryana, Sh. Kaptan Singh Solanki.
